About Me

My name is Krystin. I am 25 years old and I was born February 27, 1990 in the Bronx, NY.

I have lots of family and most of them originate from the Bronx, NY as well.

I love rice, mangoes, sweet plantains, grapes, dates, and all other manner of sugary goodness

Unfortunately, I am preservative intolerant and that cuts out a whole lot of sugary goodness that I shouldn’t be having anyway.

For those of you who are wondering what Garifuna is I’ll  briefly break it down:

“The Garifuna people (a.k.a. “Black Caribs”) are people of mixed ancestry (Carib Indian, Arawak Indian and West African) from the island St. Vincent, where that fusion of ethnicities initially took place”—-“Teofilo via beinggarifuna.com”

Yes that was a plug-in but I gotta represent. Teofilo does and keeps track of some great stuff that is going on in the Bronx and everything Garifuna.

My paternal grandparents are from Honduras when they were young. I’m part of the second generation born in the U.S.A.

Since I have sooo much family (maternal and paternal) I’m just going to give one big thanks to the family members who made me who I am and helped me get where I am today.
